Energy transition, at the heart of the fight against climate change, is a change of the global “economic model” responding to the need to produce wealth while emitting less CO2, in contrast to the model that has been followed since the start of the industrial age. This formidable ambition requires a transformation, in a few decades, of the means of the production, transport, storage, and consumption of energy, but equally of urban planning, mobility, and the data around them… Beyond the technological challenges, what new social models will emerge from this “post-modern” relationship to energy?
