Biography

Patrice Geoffron is a professor of economics at the University of Paris-Dauphine. He also holds the position of Director of the Center for Geopolitics of Energy and Raw Materials (CGEMP). His previous positions include interim president of Université Paris-Dauphine and director of the Dauphine Economics Laboratory.

He has a solid academic background in economics, holding the agrégation in economics and the title of doctor of economics with a thesis prize from the National Association of Doctors in Economic Sciences. His research focuses on energy and climate policies and corporate strategies in this field. He has published various books and articles on these subjects.
