Biography
Martin Hirsch is an alumnus of ENS and ENA. He has held various positions in the health sector, as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for Health (1997-1999), Director General of the French Food Safety Agency (1999-2005) and as Director General of the AP-HP (2013-2022). High Commissioner for Active Solidarity and High Commissioner for Youth (2007-2010), he was at the origin of the creation of the Active Solidarity Income and the Civic Service. He is currently Executive Vice President of Galileo Global Education and President of the Institute of Engagement.
