Philippe Martin has passed away.
We, members of the Cercle des économistes, academics, participants in public life, professors at Sciences Po, will now have to learn to do without it.
Philippe was rigorous, intelligent, open-minded, attentive and modest. The desire to convey and enlighten public decision-making without ideological ulterior motives.
All those who worked with him share the feeling of losing someone who always took the time for discussion, debate, to produce solid results. Invested in multiple functions commensurate with his qualities, he was never stingy with his time when it came to tackling difficult issues or defining relevant directions.
We are losing a great spirit. We lose a friend.
We share the grief of his family and all his loved ones.
