Marylise Léon has been General Secretary of the CFDT since June 2022. She was previously Under-Secretary-General. In this capacity, she was responsible, among other things, for the coordination of action policy, employment and security issues, external relations, and inter-union relations. A graduate of the Chemistry and Energy federation, of which she was federal secretary, she has held the position of safety and environment manager in industry.
