Biography
Claudia Senik is a professor at Sorbonne University and the Paris School of Economics, she also holds positions of great importance in the field of economic research. She is the director of the Well-being Observatory at Cepremap (Centre for Economic Research and its Applications) and is a member of the IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn).
Claudia Senik, an alumna of the École Normale Supérieure, holds a doctorate from the EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales). Her main areas of expertise include the economics of subjective well-being, the exploration of the sources of well-being at work and in the workplace, and the analysis of women’s behaviour in school and the labour market. Her research work has significant implications for understanding and improving women’s quality of life, happiness and participation in education and the workplace.
