Biography

Jean-Hervé Lorenzi, as founder and member of the Cercle des économistes, holds various high-level positions. He is currently the president of the association for the Rencontres Économiques d’Aix-en-Provence and chairs the Executive Board of the company Le Cercle des économistes SAS. He acts as a special advisor to the management company Isalt and holds the “Demographic Transitions, Economic Transitions” Chair of the Fondation du Risque. In addition, he holds the position of Editorial Director of the Revue Risques.

Prior to his current roles, he served as President of the Cercle des économistes, President of the Competitiveness, Finance, Innovation Cluster, member of the Executive Board of Edmond de Rothschild France, Professor of Economics at the University of Paris Dauphine, Deputy Director of the DIELI (Directorate of Electronic and Computer Industries) at the Ministry of Industry, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Industry in charge of new technologies, Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister, Chief Executive Officer of CEA Industrie and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Gras Savoye.

Jean-Hervé Lorenzi holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is an associate professor of Law and Economics. He has also published various books, including “The Error of Faust”, “The New Resistance” and “The Future of Our Freedom”
