Biography

Dominique Roux is an expert in the fields of telecommunications, regulation and the digital economy. His publications, current and past functions, as well as his solid education attest to his significant contribution to these fields.

Currently, Dominique Roux holds various leadership positions. As Professor Emeritus at the University of Paris-Dauphine. In addition, as Director of the Digital Economy Chair, he is a key player in promoting the understanding of the digital economy. He is also a Director of Timberly and assumes the role of Pedagogical Director of the Faculty of Management in Abidjan. As an Affiliate Professor at the ICN Business School in Nancy, he contributes to the education of future industry leaders.

Over the course of his career, he has held positions of high responsibility, including as Former Chairman of Bolloré Telecom and Member of the French Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. He was also Vice-President of the National Commission of Service Accounts, where he actively participated in the regulation of the telecommunications sector in France.

Dominique Roux holds an academic background with PhDs in economics and management sciences, as well as an agrégation in management sciences. His publications, such as “The 100 Words of the Internet” and “The 100 Words of Telecommunications”, attest to his expertise in these specialized fields.
