Throwback to the 22nd edition: “Successfully transforming the world”
For this 22nd edition, the Rencontres Économiques d’Aix-en-Provence brought together more than 5,500 people, including 350 speakers of more than 40 nationalities on 8, 9 and 10 July 2022. The economic debate also took place online where the #REAix2022 videos generated more than 2 million views and 13,000 mentions on social networks!

At the end of these three days, Le Cercle des économistes declared a state of economic emergency and proposed seven immediate measures to be put in place. In the longer term, Le Cercle has identified five major areas for debate. Find the state of economic emergency on the Rencontres website.
About the theme
These are exceptional times for societies and the world. The 22nd Rencontres Économiques will therefore also be exceptional.
This year, the largest European economic debate open to all and free to attend will welcome 5,000 people in person and hundreds of thousands at a distance. 350 speakers from some 40 countries will debate 4 major transformations.
