Biography

Patrick Artus is currently an economic advisor at Natixis. At the same time, he is Professor of Economics at the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and sits as a member of the Scientific Council of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). In addition, he contributes to the Board of Directors of Ipsos as a director.

He has held various positions of high responsibility, including as Chief Economist and member of the Executive Committee of Natixis, Director of Research and Studies at Natixis, Director of Studies at the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration, Head of Research Seminar at Paris Dauphine University, and as Senior Economist at the Banque de France and the OECD. His commitment to the field of teaching extends to several prestigious institutions.

In recognition of his achievements, Patrick Artus was elevated to the rank of Officer in the National Order of the Legion of Honour. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique, the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique, and the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris.

Finally, his latest publications are, “L’économie post-Covid” (co-authored with Oliver Pastré, Éditions Fayard, September 2020), and “40 ans d’austérité salariale” (Éditions Odile Jacob, June 2020), testify to his significant contribution to contemporary economic literature.
